Flannel sheets

It's chilly out today, and I like it.

Kelly, before you slap me, consider this: I married a guy who was miserable for about seven months out of every year. And when Christopher was miserable, everyone was miserable. So I'm going to revel in every glorious moment of this fall and winter, just because I can.

Think about it. A whole season tailor-made for cuddling, wearing cute sweaters, drinking Cocoa Kelly (or Cocoa Margot, which I prefer), sleeping under piles of quilts, making chili, sitting by the fire (even if it is just the fireplace at Starbucks), learning to ski (hey, maybe I will!), ice skating, snow angels, vintage coats, wearing your Auntie Margot hats ... can you dig it?

Give in, and enjoy the season with me. Sleep naked in the flannel sheets. It's good for the soul.

Thanks, Colleeny! I miss you! I will have to come out one of these Thursdays to hug you, and bring you bling!

And I don't know whether it's a good or bad thing, but I'll be thinking of you tonight as I drift off to sleep!

I love fall. It's my element. The smells, the textures, the colors, the everything!

I think I lived somewhere where it smelled like fall all of the time in a past life.

I love bulky sweaters, warm cozy jammies, lots of blankets on the bed, hot chocolate and a scary movie.

I love All Hallow's Eve, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and everything in between!

I have to run, I'm making chili for Karrie and all of our kids tonight.

There is nothing wrong with warm thoughts in warm flannel sheets...
I am going upstairs to put my sage colored flannel sheets on my bed right now. I can't wait to go to bed. Happy Snuggles

and do come out, it would be nice to see you.
